John Grisham

I have always enjoyed a great read, but when I started college I found it hard to dig into a book other than a text book. After graduating I have really enjoyed getting my nose back in the  mist of white paper and black writing. I mostly enjoy reading about romance and adventure, hence the like of Nicolas Sparks.  My dad is a huge John Grisham fan and had always looked forward to his new books, I thought I would give it a whirl. He suggested for me to read, Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer.

Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer-Immediately I was captivated. It was a fun and suspenseful piece. John Grisham does such a wonderful job of representing a thirteen year boy, from his mannerisms to his way of thinking.Theodore Boone is a bright thirteen year old boy who's mother and father are both lawyers, so Theo (as he is known) is the one sought out in school whenever there is a problem from parents financial fails to help solve a murder. It's funny how you get to know the charters so well when reading the book and get so captivated as if they are actual people. That's why I was excited to learn that there was a sequel to this book called Theodore Boone: The Abduction.

Theodore Boone: The Abduction- We are reintroduced to the characters from the first book and many more. Theodore Boone is the "lawyer/detective" when his best friend April is abducted. Theo is the one who makes sure there are no holes left uncovered and from his family and friends help there the outcome is suspenseful yet great.

I do recommend these books from ages thirteen up. They are such a good, light, easy read.
